Click on Properties on HT820, and then on services, it does not show any services at all. I click on Control Panel -> Bluetooth Devices, and I see the 'Motorola HT820' listed as 'Passkey enabled,' but it doesn't say 'Connected' like the keyboard and mouse do. Windows connects correctly, the device reads connections, windows shows it as 'already connected' when I try to connect it again. Changed the radio settings to a bluetooth hub instead of locked to the keyboard/mouse. I'm using Windows XP, have Setpoint 4.7, and I've tried the following: I can get it 'connected,' but with complications. I tried today to get the headset to work, and it won't receive sound. Keyboard/Mouse is Logitech MX5500 Revolution, bluetooth wireless, came with a USB dongle that they connect through. I had a revelation today that: 'Duh, my keyboard/mouse is bluetooth, shouldn't that be the same thing?' My goal here is to get my new Motorola HT820 bluetooth headphones to work with on my computer. Nothing on the software side has changed at all since yesterday, and there have been no Bluetooth issues until tonight. There have been no hardware upgrades or replacements except for a USB speaker and various external keyboards. My laptop is an MSI GL727QF-1057 gaming laptop bought from Newegg in mid 2017. All of this was done several times to no avail.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver completely in Device Manager, updating the driver which failed because the current, broken version is the newest one, running the Bluetooth troubleshooter that reset the device, restarting, completely shutting the laptop down and turning it back on again, and using the keyboard on another Windows 10 PC it works correctly. Upon further investigation with Device Manager I learned that something called a Broadcom 2046 Bluetooth 2.1 USB UHE Dongle is having error code 10. I looked at the Bluetooth settings and saw that there was a driver error. Yesterday my laptop was working perfectly, but tonight when I tried to sign on to windows I discovered that my external keyboard was no longer being recognized. Hi everyone! I have a very annoying problem.
